Emerald Events & Décor is a professional event planning, event coordination, and creative décor styling business based in Kenya. We offer consultation, logistics coordination, and styling setup services for weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations.

2. Bookings and Consultations

  • Initial consultations can be booked via our portal or contact page.
  • To secure a booking for event planning or décor setup, a signed agreement and deposit are required as specified during the quoting process.
  • Until a deposit is received, dates are considered tentative and may be booked by other clients.

3. Payments and Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable unless specified otherwise in the service contract.
  • Final payments must be completed according to the payment schedule outlined in your specific agreement (typically 14-30 days before the event).
  • Failure to pay according to the schedule may result in the suspension or cancellation of our services.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to provide timely feedback, accurate information, and required approvals for designs, vendor contracts, and layout specifications. We are not liable for delays or issues resulting from missing or incorrect details provided by the client.

5. Vendor Relations

While we recommend trusted third-party vendors (e.g., caterers, photographers, venue owners), their terms, contracts, and cancellations are between the client and the vendor directly. We are not responsible for vendor performance or contract breaches.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website including logos, text, graphics, and custom design layouts is the property of Emerald Events & Décor and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emerald Events & Décor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • The use or inability to use our online portal
  • Delays, changes, or cancellations beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure)
  • Issues arising from external vendor services

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law principles.
